Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This policy explains what data Tasleem (an AI platform that guides Computer Science and IT students through their graduation project) collects, and how we use and protect it. By using Tasleem, you agree to the below.
Information we collect
- Account details: your name and email, and your profile picture if you sign in with Google.
- Your onboarding answers and project data: university, major, skills, idea, and any content you create across the phases (research, report, plan, defense).
- The graduation-project requirements you upload, used to tailor the AI guidance.
- A public GitHub repository you choose to connect (read-only) and its activity.
- Basic technical usage data needed to run and secure the service.
How we use your data
To provide the service, personalize guidance to your project, save your progress, contact you about your account, and improve the platform. We do not sell your data.
AI processing
To generate guidance, we send the relevant project content to AI model providers (Anthropic and OpenAI) who process it only to produce the response, under their terms. Always verify AI output against your university’s actual requirements.
Who we share with (processors)
We rely on trusted providers to run Tasleem: Supabase (account + database), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic and OpenAI (AI), Resend (email), and Google (sign-in). Each processes data only on our behalf.
Retention & your control
We keep your data while your account is active. You can edit most of it in Settings, and request access or account deletion by emailing contact@tasleemteam.com.
Security
We apply access controls and encryption in transit. No internet service can be 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the updated version here with a new date.
